The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 4:11, "...if anyone serves, let it be from the strength God provides, so that God may be glorified through Jesus Christ in everything. To Him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen."
Getting involved through serving allows us to use the strength God provides so that God may be glorified through Jesus Christ in everything.
When we serve, we:

When we serve, we:
- Reflect God’s glory by showing His love and power through our actions
- Exercise the unique gifts that God has given each of us for the good of the church
- Build up the Body of Christ by meeting needs and caring for one another
- Participate in God’s work rather than trying to serve from our own limited strength
- Give God the glory and power forever, as 1 Peter 4:11 reminds us
